Arts, culture, and community engagement help create identity, strengthen neighborhoods, celebrate local stories, and bring people together. This division focuses on placemaking, public art, community partnerships, youth engagement, neighborhood activation, civic participation, and creating opportunities for residents to help shape the future of Garden City. 

Current and future initiatives may include public art installations, gateway enhancements, community storytelling projects, mural programs, artistic infrastructure improvements, school partnerships, public gathering spaces, neighborhood engagement efforts, and creative approaches that make Garden City more welcoming, memorable, and connected. 

Our goal is simple: help create places people are proud of and experiences people want to be part of.
