PUBLIC NOTICE

SAND AND BAGS AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS THIS WEEKEND

FRIDAY, 10/9/26 – SUNDAY, 10/11/26

Due to the risk of heavy rain from Hurricane Isaias and potential for localized flooding forecasted for this upcoming weekend, the City is providing free sand and sandbags to help residents safeguard their homes and properties.

· Where: Public Works, 2 Bud Brown Drive, Garden City, GA.

· When: Friday, 10/9/26 afternoon through Sunday, 10/11/26 evening.

· Details: This is a self-service station. The city will provide both the sand and empty bags while supplies last. Residents must bring their own shovels and gloves to fill and load their bags.
