Water Main Damage on Dean Forest Road

This afternoon, Georgia Power damaged a water main on Dean Forest Road, resulting in significant water loss and draining the Industrial Water Tower. Water service has been restored to the industrial park area—including Export Boulevard, Commerce Court, and Dean Forest Road—but pressure remains very low.
The water tower is currently refilling, which is expected to take a few hours.

The event will feature over 60 vendors and offer a wide range of engaging activities, including interactive exhibits, live music, face painting, a community drop-off station, and a bicycle repair tent. Families can enjoy an evening filled with kid-friendly activities, food trucks, and opportunities to learn together in a fun, welcoming setting. Earth Day is free and open to the public.
