JOB SUMMARY:

The Facilities Weekend Manager is responsible for the operational oversight, safety, and security of Garden City Parks and Recreation athletic, aquatic, and indoor facilities. This position requires a highly independent individual to manage community spaces during peak weekend hours and designated weekdays, ensuring high-quality recreational environments for the public.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in recreation management, facility operations, public park systems, or an aquatics environment preferred.

Special Qualifications: Must possess a valid Georgia Driver’s license with an acceptable driving history and First Aid and CPR certifications.

Schedule Requirements: Friday through Sunday core weekend coverage, plus designated weekdays to complete a full 40 hour workweek.
