Public Notice: CSX Railroad Crossing Closure

The City has been advised that CSX is closing the railroad crossing to all vehicular traffic on Big Hill Road starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, until the work is completed on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

City Administrative Offices Closed - Juneteenth

City Administrative Offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Water Service Temporary Shut-Off

Water service will be temporarily shut off on Friday, May 29th, starting at approximately 9:00 a.m. This scheduled outage will affect residents on 7th Street, 8th Street, and portions of Davis Avenue. The shutdown is required for the utility crew and contractors to safely repair a water leak in the area. Crews will work as quickly as possible to complete the repairs and restore service.
