Garden City has established a comprehensive fee schedule for the purpose of recovering the City’s costs to provide specific services to customers.
Like other local governments, the City derives a portion of its operating revenue from service fees and the revenue from these fees helps to offset the City’s incurred costs. The City periodically reviews and revises the fee schedule to ensure that our rates for provision of the services correlates with the City’s cost to provide the service.

NOTICE: City of Garden City – 2019 Utility Rate Changes
Effective January 2019, the City of Garden City will implement rate increases to our water, sewer, fire protection, and sanitation utility rates which will be reflected on your February 2019 utility bill. The increases are necessary to continue providing the highest quality of service at the most cost effective rates for customers.
