 Planning Commission                            

The Garden City Planning & Zoning Commission is appointed by the Garden City City Council. Their duties include reviewing and deciding on cases requesting variances and/or code interpretations on the regulatory ordinances of the City including but not limited to the: 

- Zoning Ordinance
- Land Subdivision Regulations
- Planned Urban Development Regulations


The Planning and Zoning Board is a recommendatory board that forwards their findings and recommendations to the Garden City City Council for Final Approval and ratification.


All Board meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Each meeting is held at City Hall in the Courtroom beginning at 6:00 p.m.   

The 2018 meeting dates are as follows:
